samiran was in the news yesterday, for those of you who know him, and haven’t been in touch, the times of india had a front page story on how samiran and his brother were beaten up by the management at the chinese and thai cafe, gurgaon. thats what comes of living in gurgaon, and drinking at a pseudo-turquoise cottage. but it just goes to show that if you’ve been with toi for long enough, you can get anything put on the front page.

my good friend ram shankar just registered a new domain after the earlier one got hijacked. so i contacted his new web designers, with this fair warning…
my former client and, i presume, your current client ram shankar [dba retail associates] is apparently gettting his website designed by your firm.
please note these points.
- none of the content that you are using on the site retailassociates.org is owned by retail associates. i still hold the copyright to all of those as per my agreement with ram shankar, prior to making retailassociates.net
- since i was not paid in full, i have used my right to retain all content/logos/images, along with the domain. your using it would be a copyright violation. and you would be liable to be sued.
- where you are doing your own stuff, please do something about the grammar/spelling on the site you are making. for instance, write our team, instead of abour theme; thinking globally instead of thanking globly. and so on and so forth. don’t get misled by ram’s pronunciation.
- i have no idea what your dealing with ram shankar is, but if i were you, i’d get my money first.

i’ve been getting a lot of bounced mail, all spam that has apparently been sent from ghg-at-pottenkulam.com, qwlwe-at-pottenkulam.com, and many more… my domain’s being spoofed. i repeat. i am not a spammer.
for those who came in trying to figure out how to order viagra or cialis at pottenkulam.com, you’re in for a disappointment. i don’t actually deal in that stuff. you need to click on the link in the mail. just don’t come crying to me when the anna kournikova pics aren’t quite as exciting as you hoped they’d be.
and if anyone has a solution to this whole spam scenario, please help me out.. would be much obliged.
pondy is off
with people going to jail, et al, i have bigger issues at hand. my trip to bangalore, cochin and pondy is off… for a number of reasons. one being, it’s impossible to get any sort of travel, besides ridiculously expensive flights, from bangalore to cochin. my ass i’m paying 5 grand for a 45 minute flight.
and so.. all plans are off… all the people who got offended by my previous post may chuckle away…
and prabin, who kindly arranged the required hot chick, may keep her to himself. lucky prick.
