dot dot dot
i’m tired of seeing my name up there… it’s small, yes. but i’m bored, nevertheless. so here we go…
(???e???? plural: ellipses e??e??e??, Greek for “omission”) in linguistics refers to any omitted part of speech that is understood; i.e. the omission is intentional. Analogously, in printing and writing, the term refers to the row of three dots (…) or asterisks (* * *) indicating such an intentional omission. This punctuation mark is also called a suspension point, points of ellipsis, periods of ellipsis, or colloquially, dot-dot-dot.
from my favourite source for many many things…
and being as restless as i am, i upped and created a mirror for this blog at vox. it’s called …sispille. clever, or what? i’ll probably screw around with the layout on my blog next. like i have nothing better to do. well… i don’t. i think. worked on a norwegian site recently (is that kvlt enough?). it’s called energipunkt, but it isn’t about hyper anti-socials. quite the opposite, actually… that’s norwegian for energy point, and is about healing and yoga and stuff like that… also helping varma with his dad’s site, in joomla once again. apparently, they’ve fixed that whole permissions thing… i had major issues with that one.
carpal diem
all this sitting at my comp is causing major strain on my wrist. people would say that it’s caused by other factors. but i’m indian, i use my left hand for functions below my navel. carpal tunnel syndrome, they call the actual reason that causes this pain. and in my quest to do something about it, i discovered ergonomic mousepads with padding where the wrist goes. and then i found this. padding for the padding, what? and their “tyler” model looks suspiciously like anna kournikova.
and think of all the naughty things one can do with it when one is alone. beats reaching out with your left hand.
i’d just hate to see a site called ballsymousepads.com, though.
